Product Description

The Delta Tau 602469-102 is a digital to analog (DAC) terminal block board. This board was developed to interface with PMAC 2 systems. It works to convert digital and analog signals being sent to and from the PMAC system and external I/O modules. Four 18 bit digital to analog converters work to translate all signals into I/O module digestible signals. All analog outputs can sustain a maximum output range of -10 V to 10 V. Jumpers found on the device allow for user selection between open, closed, sinking, or sourcing. A 100 pin flat cable is included with the board to connect it to the PMAC 2 system. Other flat cables can also be used to send signals using the on board IDC headers.

Proper safety and installation parameters should be followed to maintain the integrity of the block board. 602469-102 contains sensitive circuitry and components that require trained personnel to handle. Damage to the device can occur if handled or installed improperly. Discharge all static electricity from hands before handling the board as it can corrode the circuits. The board should be installed in a protected electrical cabinet or personal computer. This will prevent any extreme temperatures, moisture, or flying debris from interrupting the device. The series manual and the device datasheet contain a complete guide to installing and operating this board. Technical support for all PMAC systems was originally provided by the manufacturer, Delta Tau.
