The Delta Tau 602402-106 is a universal PMAC-Lite programmable multi-axis controller. This board was developed for the PMAC and PMAC 2 systems from Delta Tau. As a ‘lite’ controller, this device contains only four on board axes for external motion control. Independent channel circuits control each axis, allowing each to be programmed either separately or synchronously. This circuitry includes a differential 16-bit DAC output, an amplifier output, an incremental encoder input, and four flag inputs. A programmable logic controller, programs can run independently of the PMAC host. On board memory can be stored using two methods: either backed by battery or flash memory.

Maintaining 602402-106 requires all installation and storage parameters provided by the manufacturer to be followed. Personnel trained to handle circuits and other delicate computer components should install this device to prevent any accidental damages. Discharge all static electricity before handling the device as this can seriously damage the electrical components of the board. Controllers like this should only be installed in either a personal computer or an electrical cabinet to protect from temperatures, moisture, and debris.
