602240-101 is a Option 2 dual port RAM board developed by Delta Tau. This board is compatible with Delta Tau PMAC and PMAC 2 to create faster data communication speeds between the PMAC and the host. A RAM cache of 8K by 16 bit is integrated into the board for expanded memory space. The available memory in it can be shared by the PMAC system and the system host. Repetitive downloading of data and rotary information occurs in real time with the dual port board. Both automatic DPRAM functions and user designed features are supported with this board. It installs into the PC bus with cables hardwiring it to the PMAC system.
As a circuit board with sensitive components, the 602240-101 must be stored and installed using all manufacturer provided parameters. Qualified personnel who are trained to handle sensitive components should handle this device. Improper handling can result in device deterioration or malfunction. Extra care should be taken to ensure that no static electricity is discharged on the device. When installing the board in a production line it must be mounted in either an electrical cabinet or personal computer.
