Product Description
The 34-0394001 is a Delta Tau Data Systems (PMAC 2) ACC 28A Micro Analog to Digital Converter PCI (peripheral component interconnect.) This is a complex board with two connected auxiliary boards and a significant amount of surface wiring.
The primary board of the 34-0394001 is marked on one end as “PCI 5V 32 Bit Prototype Board, P/N 34-0394001.” The board is factory drilled in each corner for mounting options. The board surface is printed with lines of circles that are then broken up into an overlaid grid that is subtly marked across the surface of the board with its coordinates notes at the board edges (Y01/Y11/Y31, X51/x61/x71/x81/x91/x101.) The board has a single connector attached to one short edge at a ninety-degree angle. This connector is attached to the board surface via two screw mounts. Dozens of red, orange, yellow, and black wires traverse from the connector to the terminal blocks on the two auxiliary boards. The motherboard has a line of conductive pins extending from one long edge that are each have four circular openings designated to each pin, and that are labeled (typically twice.) Some of these labels are such things as +5V, Ground, Stop #, Trdy#, and TDI.
The two auxiliary boards attached to the board surface are essentially duplicates of each other. A terminal strip is located at the front of each board. Both boards are populated with two voltage regulators and also have five potentiometers on their surface. The boards make use of both carbon composite resistors and metal film resistors. Capacitors tend to be made of ceramic material. Each board has multiple resistor network arrays, several integrated circuits, and a single vertical pin connector for attaching a ribbon cable connector. More information on the board and its components can be found through manufacturer user guides or manuals.
