The Cognex IS560300 is a high resolution vision system. A member of the Insight 5000 series, this model offers high resolution images capable of inspecting large pieces of machinery for small errors or malfunctions. The camera is capable of capturing images at a rate of 15 frames per second. All images are processed with the integrated 256 MB of image memory with a 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. An additional 128 MB of flash memory provides storage space for jobs and programs.

IS560300’s high resolution system is highlighted well by the integrated 20 times speed rating. Extra ID and tool systems provide users with an exceptional experience using the device. Some features of the included extended and essential tools are histograms, image filters, and text reading. Two high speed networking ports, an Ethernet and a 10/100/1000 BaseT protocol, provide networking abilities. Other interfacing capabilities include a serial I/O connection using a RS232C port.

Provided installation and safety parameters should be followed to preserve the integrity of the device. Temperature sensitivities of the technology require a climate controlled operating environment. While operating, temperatures can safely range as low as 32℉, or 0℃, and as high as 113℉, or 45℃. Storage temperatures can also affect the device, even when the device is powered off. Ambient temperatures can safely range from -22℉ to 176℉, or -30℃ to 80℃. The device datasheet and user manual provide a complete safety and installation guide.
