To install the In-Sight IS511000 Vision System, you must install the lens, connect the Ethernet cable, connect the breakout cable, install the In-Sight Explorer software on a networked laptop, or other device, and log on to the Vision System.
The IS511000 contains 128MB non-volatile flash memory and unlimited storage through a remote network device. The image processing memory is 256 MB. The resolution is 640x480. The sensor type is ⅓-inch CCD. The weight is 350 g (12.3 oz.) with the lens cover installed and without the lens. The IS511000 is surrounded in a die-cast aluminum housing.

The minimum firmware requirement for the IS511000 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.

Without the lens cover installed, the dimensions are 43.5mm (1.71in) x 124.2mm (4.85in) x 61.4mm (2.42in) including the thread guard.
