Product Description

F0-2AD2DA-2 is a combination analog voltage module designed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. A combination module, it features two input and two output analog connections. The device works to convert incoming analog voltage signals into processable digital signals. It then converts outgoing signals from digital back into analog voltage. F0-2AD2DA-2 is from the series of modules designed to interface with DirectLogic 05 and DirectLogic 06 programmable logic controllers. When installed in the PLC, each channel on the module is updated in a single scan.

The module allows the user to select input ranges to meet peripheral device specifications. A jumper allows the module to switch between 0-5VDC and 0-10VDC input ranges. To support F0-2AD2DA-2, specific software requirements must be met by the controller. If using a DL05 series PLC, firmware version 3.30 or later and DirectSOFT32 version 3.0c or later are required. Should the controller be from the DL06 series it needs firmware version 1.00 or later and DirectSOFT32 version V4.0, build 16 or later.

Following proper installation and storage parameters is necessary to maintain F0-2AD2DA-2. Installation of the module is simple, making removal seamless and efficient. Removal of the terminal block is easy, without having to affect the wiring of the entire unit. When installed and operating in a PLC, the module requires an ambient temperature ranging from 32℉ to 140℉, or 0℃ to 60℃. Storage temperatures have a larger range, with facility temperatures able to fall as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and raise as high as 158℉, or 70℃.
